Because of the fundamental nature of dreams and the state of psychology right now, really science in general. No one can honestly answer your questions, OOOO we can make theories, hypothesis, but there is no LAW over dreams, with that said. Its beyond us right now. We could say simple its a result of the fact that your mind NEEDS you in a situation of hyper-realism in order to accomplish its goals of refreshing you for the day. But it would still leave unanswered questions. Like how there so much more detail in dreams then I could ever image, or see in real life. Also were does my control of a dream began, and my inability to control it began? Do dreams only have a local influence on that dream world or is it infinite in scope? Its beyond us sister really, so don't let any dark hearts make you think that science is in anyway, shape or form her to simply turn us into chemical reactions. It to ammits these facts and in alot of ways respect the field of dreaming as being a phenomena with means we can't fully understand. Its untestable in other words, its the same reason science doesn't disprove god, it can't test death..... but really thats not its purpose, your dreams in all reality our an entirely different reality then what were messing with in the waking world. Weather its a concert forever and ever reality, or one you simply create wouldn't matter, and would still prove the power of consciousness, ever notice your doggy dreaming?
