I usually have some new cothes for my birthday (Christmas Eve) which I wear when we all go out for a drink in the late afternoon.
(Last year was a bit different as it was THE BUS PASS one and retirement so I took a change of new clothes as well 'cos my party was booked from 12-12. )
We open our presents at midnight on Christms Eve,say 'Happy Christmas' to each other,clear up the paper and put the turkey on 'LOW' and go to bed for a couple of hours. Once the lunch is all cooking and everything is going to plan, we pick-up the 2 x mums(both 87) ,and bring them here.We make sure we are wearing anything they bought us-no matter what !
Yes, I like to dress-up but sometimes I wish it could be in something I bought !(no disrespect meant to either mum but I think they've forgotten how old I am !)

I always get something new for Christmas day bex. I think it goes back to when I was a kid. I like to make an effort, put a bit of slap on and do my hair. I don't go anywhere, but you never know when the camera's going to come out lol !!

We usually open up gifts in our pj's, but we go to relatives for Christmas dinner, and I do try to dress up a little bit for that. Christmas is a special occasion!!

I like to stay in the pj's for breakfast while I cook and the kids open their presents--but yes I think people should make an effort to look nice

I love to dress up but the rest doesn't so its a toss up if I am church dress for that then just casual slacks and jacket.its the savior's birthday I should save my jeans for another day lol. I don't always dress up christmas eve.

I usually dress up on Christmas eve because we tend to get more company that night. on Christmas I usually wear something I got as a gift or jeans and a sweater because its a relaxing day for my family.

i stay in my pj's man! usually my new ones =]
but when my family comes over around 3, i get dressed, usually a red sweater & jeans or gaucho's
