Why did Elton John not sing the circle of life and can you feel the love tonight in the film the Lion king?

The songs were written for the characters in the film to sing. Elton does sing “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?” during the credits of the film. The cd features Elton singing 3 songs Circle Of Life, I Just Can’t Wait To Be King and Can You Feel The Love Tonight.

i don't know but he definatly wrote the songs circle of life, i just can't wait to be king, circle of life, be prepared. i know he wrote them but he only sang circle of life he did not sing can you feel the love tonight because the characters were singing them also with i just can't wait to be king and be preapared at the end where the credits are you can hear him sing can you feel the love tonight
