You can be sued for violation of confidentiality if you make public their Social Security numbers. The cost to you could be staggering if they should become the victims of identity theft due to that act.
Pursue action in court to recover damages from them as you would any other tenant, but do not expose any of their confidential information.

What purpose would you have to publish their SS#'s. In the small chance that their next landlord will read the publication and not rent to them. I don't get the point of that I guess and I am with the others that document the damage and go to court on it and file a judgement against them. If they ever want to buy, they will have to clear that judgement.

No , take them to court. Just take lots of pictures of the damage. Document everything. If you publish their ss# they could end up suing you.

No, you should sue for damages, and next time make sure that the security fee is large enough to cover most of the ordinary damages! If you publish the SSN, YOU WILL GET SUED! BETTER, they should get sued! Got it!
