My father in law, YES!!! He loves me no matter what. I ove him too.
My mother in law....... not so much. I don't trust her as far as I could throw her. Besides, I have never been or will ever be good enough for her son. 11 years of marriage and three kids later. I think someone should break the news to her that I'm in it for the long haul!!!!! She isn't going to begetting rid of me anytime soon. :P

Good question! Well, my mother-in-law passed away some years ago, my estranged father-in-law is up North somewhere (their loss is my gain), so I don't have parents-in-law. I love the fact that your M.I.L. is there and you're on Yahoo Answers!

Why do i understand you? My father in law died when my hubby was 5 years old and my mother in law who lives in Italy, is a pain the butt but I can handle her and make her believe, she rules my home when she comes to America...he he!!

If they were nice...yes, but since that isnt the case..no I don't enjoy or permit visits from the in-laws.

My parents are long gone, to the other world. Also, my saintly father-in-law. Now, only my 85 year old mom-in-law is around, and she is such a darling!

I don't have any inlaws now. My fatherinlaw was good people his 3rd wife was nice too. My 'motherinlaw'(his Mom) he made sure I stayed away from because she was a true manipulator. I think I only met her 3 times, in her own home, never did she visit our home and she died in 1995.

I really try hard to. My in-laws don't care for me, so it makes it a challenge. But they are my husbands parents, so how can I not love them even if they don't love me??? And they are wonderful to our children... Thank goodness they live in another state!
