Before the "Big Bang" (or Creation for the religious), what color was everything... I mean, anything? Or what color was nothing?

It is scientifically thought that there was one tiny ball of matter before the Big Bang occurred. It was held together by the 4 known powers: gravity, electromagnetism, weak nuclear, and strong nuclear powers. Once gravity broke off the Big Bang occurred creating the first "flash" of light. Therefore, before the Big Bang everything was black.

For there to be any color other than black there must be light to reflect it. Black needs no reflection to exist and it opaque. Also, since there was a tiny amount of mass and no light to reflect off that mass it must have been black. Also, we have learned of the existence of "Dark Matter" which also does not reflect even light by today's standards. This further proves the black was the color before the big bang. Anyone who puts a thumbs down on my answer is ignorant. Do some research and stop guessing for a change!! This person actually wants the REAL answer. Not your OPINION!!

The fool who said he believed in the Genesis version of the bible is a lost cause. lol It's been scientifically disproven beyond any doubt.

I'm not making a comment on belief of creationism or big bang or that there was a before everything etc, but I would dispute the answer 'black'.

White is the absence of all colour. If you were to choose a image/look/shade, this would be the only that would make sense for your specific question.

(Yes I understand the irony of stating white as my choice when it technically isn't a colour!)

As there was no visible light before the big bang, or creation, or whatever, there was no color, not even black. It's a difficult concept, but it would only be applicable at the begining and end of the universe.
