recently I met Jason Donovan! It was really funny cos when I was 10 I loved him, I had his picture on the wall and I dreamt all day and night about him. Age 10 I would have given anything to meet him, he was God in my eyes.
However now at 28,, the appeal has gone and when I met him I was not really impressed, it was like meeting anyone else really!...until I thought back to my 10 year old self, and thought about how happy I would have been if I knew at 10 that I would actually meet him later in life. I told him that, he didn't really say anything he just smiled!

I am related to Kirstie Alley,we're cousins..growing up we spent quite a bit of time playing together but since then its random family reunions,or funerals when we see each other now..About 6 yrs ago we had a chance to talk for a while...I like to tease her about being famous and all it entales for her,but shes still cool with me even if she has changed somewhat due to the fame..A bit more vain than she used to be,due to the recognition from the public, but
thats a given I think...Theres alot of things the public doesn't know about, the things shes been thru, but I respect her privacy and leave it at that..=)

I have met Tori Amos, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Orgy, a bunch of other bands, and Matt Damon. Most of the time it was a quick hello and hi. With Matt Damon it was in a poker room so we talked about how we were doing in the tournament and so on. Leaning the converstion towards something you both enjoy or have in common(without being psycho) makes for a great conversation.

I met David Allen Coe. On a Sunday morning in Dallas Texas. I was going for a pack of smokes and he was going to the same 7-11 I was. We stopped at a light. He was on a Harley Davidson. I was in my 66 mustang with the top down.
I looked over at the bike and he looked at the car. I said "Nice bike", he said "Nice car."
The light changed and the bike took off, his jacket said DAVID ALLEN FLORIDA OUTLAWS MC.
A few weeks later, I was looking in the paper and saw an article about David Allen Coe getting arrested for wearing a sidearm during a concert. He was wearing that jacket!
That's when it hit me.

I met Jerry Lewis in an elevator. I just said hello and that I liked what he did for charity and he said thank you.
I met David Brenner (comedian) on the street. I told him that I liked his TV show (had one at the time). He smiled and said thanks.
I met Spike Lee in front of a movie theater. He was going to see the same movie as me. I told him that I liked his movies. He said thanks and was very gracious.
