I don't have any long term friends in my life that I still see or speak to, but I don't miss them. I have a happy life now so I look to the future not the past.

Im almost 29 here. If your asking about high school friends, I miss some of them, but not so much. They were more immature. Its been at least six years since I spoke to ANYONE from high school. BUT, I actually miss my more recent friends I met at my last couple of jobs. They were good friends and a lot of fun! Its sad that people have to move on to new lives; many friendships can't be maintained especially when distance is involved. I had some good friends in California last year, but then I had to move all the way to Boston, MA. It was hard to adjust to not having people to laugh and drink with. Such is life, I guess.

If you had good times with your friends and you actually had realy friends, then sure, you're gonna miss those friends like crazy.
And as you get older and something triggers a memory, its even worse, its a feeling of loss.
Those that say "look to the future", etc. are normally the people that didn't experience that depth of friendship that stays with you forever.
I have tonnes of friends now, but I miss some of my old friends so much and I have no idea where they are.

Yes I miss a lot of my old friends, when you get older they seem to pass on. And you remember good things while they are still here too! I love my grandchildren and miss them very much they just live 6 hours away

Yes I miss a couple of them and not just for the laughs we used to have but also because one of them I could tell her anything and not get judged for it and vice versa. Have got back in contact with her by email but thats not the same as chatting face to face. Saying that I do have good friends now although the bond I have with them isn't the same.

Yes I do, particularly the ones I was really close to. I've also just changed jobs and doubt I'll stay in contact with most of my friends from the previous one and I'll miss them too, but people change and move on and some of the things you value in friends will change too.
