It should, though you'll need a plug adapter to plug it into the wall (that's a pretty cheap device though and laptop AC adapters can handle pretty much any voltage in domestic use on this planet, just don't plug anything that must have 110 V into the the plug adapter though). It might be technically illegal to plug it into the phone line or something like that but it's pretty much never going to be enforced (and it'll still work just fine).

Though the warranty for laptops bought in the US only covers the laptop in the US or outside of the US by a US citizen.

So unless you're a dual citizen you'll find the warranty void in the UK meaning you either pay up should a repair be needed or send it over to the states (at your cost of course) for them to repair it for free.

You really should only be buying a laptop in the country that you'll be using it though.

Unfortunately i don't think it will work. I purchased some fancy electrical alarm clock from the US a while ago and the lights won't turn on. I called their customer service and they said i might have blown the product simply by switching it on a UK plug. Because the voltage in UK is much higher than the US. I remember doing some research on the internet and i read about laptops as well and as far as i remember you cannot use US electrical in UK.
