Bah Humbug! Well not really - I'm still trying to get used to Christmas being hot in Australia rather than cold in the UK where I'm from. Doesn't seem like Christmas here in 35 degrees C! And they still sell Christmas cards with snowmen on!
Actually, when you have kids, the focus on Christmas shifts to them and as you get older (and grumpier;)) you realise just how commercialized the whole thing is. A week after Christmas and the Easter eggs start appearing in the shops!
Anyway, in answer to your question:) my children make my Christmas.

In my family we play Christmas music in the house to get in the holiday spirit; some popular choices include "Silent Night" and "Deck the Halls."
I then prepare a huge Christmas feast with foods such as turkey, ham, stuffing and vegetables; I serve mince pie for dessert. Include other favorite recipes from my childhood holiday meals.
We Attend church on Christmas Eve.
We Remember that the true meaning of the season is really about giving.

I like to decorate my "real" Christmas tree, listening to "christmas tunes" and the kids helping out. We miss our families though, they live in Italy but try to have some friends over.

What makes it Christmasey for me is :
- putting up my decades old Christmas tree, with new decor motif and new lights
- Chrsitmas wreath at the front door
- My different collections of Santa Claus to sit on the porch and on my piano top
- setting of the dining table with my old traditional Christmas decorated dinnerwares, cutlery, table cover&napkins

I agree... I love having a Tree, and also... my sister makes this cherry cheese cake that I guess wa my grandma's recipe. It's this cold set type stuff, that isn't anywhere near as amazing as my sisters baked cheesecakes, but for some reasno I must have it at Christmas. We always did, so its just a standard of mine now!

It wouldn't be Christmas without a tree. I don't know why but pulling out that old ratty fake tree my parents had and trying to figure out which branch went where and then trying to bend it to make it look real was fun.
