i know what you mean. yes!! frankly. its given small groups of people the power to effect the lives of the whole population. IE: the police virtually have to let the Muslim community know 'in advance' before they do anything. how bloody stupid is that?. indigenous people don't have that right, and this is supposed to be our country. and dangerous mental patients are allowed to live among the community as!! are predatory paedophiles??....its PC verses common sense, and common sense has lost the fight I'm afraid.......it seems to me that this government gives too much credence to these self appointed 'so called' experts. personaly i think its time we threw these fools out of they're cushy jobs and let some sanity back in to the country. and i doubt that will happen untill we get ridd of new labour.

Absolutely! It appears to me that 'they' (the authorities) spend thousands and millions on this group and that group to come up with decent, honest, sensible solutions to various problems......then they introduce ideas/laws/guidelines that are exactly the opposite to what the man in the street would introduce, given the chance. There must be something funny added to the tea (or beer) in the houses of parliament!
Anything that's got the slightest chance of putting more money in to the Governments coffers, however small, will be introduced. Anything that may benefit the general public, or make life a little better, will be rejected. Loonies rule the country!

i believe the entire country is suffering your correct observation. those of the population who cant keep up or won't are now dictating the speed and morals of life by degrading the intelligence of the rest of us by forcing us to accept sub standard work and attitudes for a small minority of lay-abouts and chronic whiners who cant and or wont try hard enough to fit into the main stream.
you can be individual in this world ( i sure am) and still fit the program. PC is second only to immigration as a major problem in the UK our biggest problem is his majesty Emperor Napoleon Brownaparte

I'm not against giving power to groups that don't have much, if this didn't happen then women and disabled people would still be treated as fourth class citizens.
What I don't like is when 'little hitler' personalities think they have the right to take offence on behalf of groups that they don't even belong to. Or try to tell other people how they should be thinking and what they can and cannot say. Like forcing bakeries to call gingerbread men gingerbread people, as if women would be offended by not being included in a biscuits name! Ridiculous!

I once worked for a company that was scared to death of being accused of any sort of bias, racism, sexism, or discrimination.
Hence, we all had to take this ridiculous and insulting "diversity training". This marvelous course taught us that "Rahid" was not surly and rude. The way he acted was part of his culture, and we should embrace these wonderful differences.
"Sally" was not a lazy goof-off. She simply demonstrated her work ethic in a non-conformist manner. We should not judge her by our rigid standards.
Yeah, I could go on and on, but people like me who had to compensate for their inhuman stupidity and laziness were nonplussed at having to endure the indignity of being lectured about these people. They were malcontents and slackers who were more trouble than they were worth. All their incompetence was explained away under the flowery veil of political correctness. No one was lazy. No one was stupid. We were all equal. We all had wonderful differences to add to the melting pot. The fact that one person demonstrably does three times the work of the other, is never late, and doesn't take two hour lunches should not be an indictment of anyone else who demonstrates a similarly fine work ethic, but in a less obvious manner. (gag me). We were all supposed to be like the smiling, cheerful characters in "Happy Tree Friends" (without the decapitations, etc.)
Yeah.... sure.

No, on the contrary, PC has been a tool to keep bonkers wastrels voting Labour, but also police them under the control of the governing Establishment.
And to keep decent, hard-working folk afraid of breaking PC rules, and thus stress them so much that they won't join the ranks of the rich political / media Class.

I think the majority of people who get caused stress get it because they are intollerant of people who act differently. So they deserve the stress frankly.
