O.k, let's work this one out....
Subway, McDonalds, Burger King, Baseball caps, Levis, Lee and Wrangler jeans I could manage without.

I never go on holiday...!

Hollywood films, Converse trainers, KFC, hooded tops I need. I could probably manage without them, but I wouldn't want to.

STARBUCKS!!! I have to have Starbucks. I can't live without my gingerbread latte's over the festive season!

I don't dislike America on the whole, it's just a couple of individuals that I am a little dubious about. Actually, it's just the one. The one that happens to be in charge of your country....oh well!

We did boycote Starbucks after 9/11.

Everything they have in America we have over here too btw.

If we don't do Starbucks.....we'll go to Costa Coffe.
Hollywood Films??? I'm a world cinema fan. Belive it or not other countries around the world have thriving film industries. I love love love Britaish, Japanese, Koren and French films. American garbage is so predictable.

Last time I checked "hooded tops" wasn't an American company..... we have UK Brands who make them too. And Jeans, and burgers and fried chicken.

There are also hundreds other countries on the planet to visit which have much more interesting and diverse cultures. Have you ever heard of Europe, Asia and Africa??

Now if America was to boycote British products.... then you'd have a problem as we invented a lot of the things you take for granted!! Heres a small list of what you'd have to give up......

Postage stamps
Anaesthetics
Chemical Bonds,
Penicillin,
Fax Machines
Golf,
Hypodermic syringes,
Microwaves,
Marmalade,
Telephones,
Television,
Economics
And finally......... the US NAVY!!!!

I don't go near most of those things now, not because I dislike Americans but because I hate junk food and designer gear, love Haagen Daaz ice cream on occasions and would love to do a shop till you drop in New York.

I can't stand american culture, or America's foreign policy including their recent attitude regarding Iran. I'm appalled by the lack of manners, and completely unjustified ignorant arrogance of many Americans I meet. They have no time for anyone who has a criticism of their country, and seem to completely miss the irony that their country is nowhere near as free as they're constantly told it is. Holidays in America are overrated; believe me I've been all over the world and the best part of America (Yosemite in my opinion) has nothing on Jamaica, Zimbabwe or Italy, to name but 3 locations.

However there are things I don't mind. Levi's jeans are excellent. My xbox 360 is great fun. Hollywood is okay, I can't deny I enjoy the odd blockbuster. Ummm, there maybe more, but for now, that's all I can think of. I've boycotted all the other things mentioned in your list already, funnily enough. I don't even buy American long grain rice or other such food products anymore.

I only use a McD, and if that wasn't there it would be the chip shop. I don't dislike America or Americans, but the US foreign policy is diabolical. As is the dominance of the companies you've mentioned in countries that have their own identity.

I don't mind America or the Americians (you can't generalise about them just because of George Bush) but I happily live without your list, except I do watych the odd America movie (they're pretty hard to avoid)

Disliking America is different to disliking it's people.

America has in itself a will to 'police the world' when in truth it has an aim to police the parts of the world which will benefit America.

I've no problem with the (few) Americans I've met and talked to personally - but as a nation, I'm not their biggest fan.

So, no, I wouldn't boycott American chains. The same as I don't boycott Israeli potatoes (as sold my M&S) despite my dislike for that country too...

Actually, although there is much I do like about America, I don't think I ever use any of those products. I had a pair of wrangler jeans once, years ago!
