Formula? What for? Breast milk is best! And it does eventually help get you back down in size. It's only been one month, it took nine to get where you are now, so just give it time and try to stay active. (shopping is good exercise, even if it is just window shopping!). Congratulations on having the baby! It's a love you will cherish.

Trust me, it happens to EVERY new mum (except if you are a very rich celebrity) Yoiur uterus will still be going back to size, your body will still be getting rid of extra fluid and your body will also be going through the stores of fat it put on to keep you healthy and nourished while you breastfeed.
Eat well, try going for regular walks with the pram, after your 6 week check maybe start yoga or swimming.
Don't supplement with formula this early, it can inhibit your milk supply from becoming properly established. If you can provide breastmilk for your bub, do it as much as possible! It uses loads of calories and combined with a healthy lifestyle can help you lose weight really fast.
But also be realistic. Your body will NEVER look like it did before you had a baby. Don't worry about little things like a bit of a tummy, just enjoy the fact that you are a mum.

It's only natural. Give it time. Your body may or may not go back to exactly how it was before. No one exercise will target fat loss at any one point on the body. General exercise is the only key. Swimming, walking and cycling are low impact forms of exercise. But, gee, it's only been a month. Give your body a chance to recover.
