Buddha was born as Siddhartha Gautama in Lumbini, Nepal approximately 2,500 years ago. Buddha, Known as the Lord of Asia, was born in Lumbini, Nepal during the full moon day in the month of Baisakh in 623 BC. He was born under a sal (Shorea robusta) tree when Mayadevi was going to her maternal town on the occasion of delivery

West and Mr. Vishnu Dāńgol, T.U., fossil remains of Ramapithecus were found in a place near Butwal on the bank of the river Tināu attached to the rocks cliff. A piece of the upper left jaw which is 1 cm. in width and more than 1 cm. in length is kept in the Natural Museum in Kathmandu. It was dated approximately eleven million years old on the basis of palaeomagnetic dating method. This hominoid finding is own as the oldest in Asia and the second oldest in the world. Its life style and civilization was similar to the Kenyapithecus and Brahmapithecus of Asia. Having been great forest area the pre-historic men used to live by hunting and gathering wild fruits in the neighborhood of Lumbini.

Gautam budhha was born in Nepal in Lumbini. For all the people who say that he was born in India is completely wrong.England rules India for several years and that does not mean that india is britain.so exactly at his time when he was born there were no any country in the world. There used to be a small kingdom ruled by the kings . even india was not india at that time..so accept this and dont be in a dream that he was born in india.Lumbini , birth place of gautam Budhha is right now in Nepal.. so accept it and dont shout like baby.. we are not talking where he got education, where he died, maybe its India and i dont care.He migrated from Nepal as like now we migrate from country to country.

OF course gautam buddha was born in lumbini,nepal which is in kapilbastu. Actually he was born when maya devi(his mother) was going to visit her parents. On the way..she gave birth to a child in a beautiful park known as lumbini,NEPAL.He was a sakyamuni (a newar) and i dont think sakyamuni are or was in india..and by the way if lord buddha was born in india then how did archeologist found many things from tilaurakot which was known as the capital of kapilbastu,NEPAL.and why did ashoka the emperor of india established the ashoka pillar in lumbini of nepal which says that lord buddha was born in NEPAL. I DONT TELL THAT GAUTAM BUDDHA IS ONLY OF NEPALESE PEOPLE,GOD IS FOR EVERYONE..BUT GAUTAM BUDDHA WAS BORN IN NEPAL AND NO ONE CAN PROVE IT WRONG BECAUSE TRUTH CANNT BE CHANGED..........

Buddha was born in Nepal, the founder of buddhism. He is beleived to have lived and taught throught northeastern India somewhere between the sixth and fourth centuries BCE. It does not mean that buddha was born in india.

Gautam Buddh Siddharta was born in Nepal but his father was hindu and just so you know IndiA and Nepal both have Indians as neighboriing countries. Buddhism was invented in Northern IndiA not Nepal. my mothers father(grandfather from moms side) is Nepali and my dads side is Brahmin indian..
