I don't consider myself a racist, I call people how I see them. There are white people, and then white trash. There are people in every race that unfortunately live up to the stereotype of their race and make it hard for the ones just trying to get ahead in life. Just because there's black gang members, doesn't mean all black people are in gangs. Not all Latinos are illegals, and not all Asians are bad drivers. These labels hinder people and need to be done away with.

I guess I do find the n****r thing a bit weird, because it's cool for black people to say it and even if a white person doesn't mean it to be rascist it is!
I think people that you describe like an outlet, and YA seems to be one of those, so I'd say that this isn't representative of rascist feeling in England.
I would not consider myself rascist at all. People are all the same and I think it's sad to define people based on colour etc. If society was the other way round how do we know that some of us wouldn't turn to terrorism!? You can't judge all people by the actions of just a few.

Racism is built into the human psyche as a defence mechanism from the days when we need to defend territory and we needed to be suspicious of strangers. This is disappearing but still persists and in reasonable people common sense will take over .However it takes all sorts to make a world and there will be some people who lack common sense and some that are just plain stupid. These are the people who tend to show racist attitudes and form the main market for papers like The Sun

I do not consider myself to be racist but i am definitely a nationalist. I am proud of where i come for, my heritage and upholding the values that our country has been built on. I do feel very worried that we are becoming a minority group in our own country. Only 0.9% of the worlds population is white, we are close to becoming ectinct! I am not racist, far from it, i work for a nursing and care agency so i can see what a great help certain immigrants are being and the benefits that they have on our economy...the worrying thing however is that out of 10 people that come to register with us we have to send 7 of them away because they have illegal documents, this is a scarily huge figure and this cannot be having a positive effect on our infrastructure, our health service, our education system or our crime rate. Not saying that it is necessarily he immagrants that are commiting more crime than the locals but it doesn't take a genius to work out that more people = more crime! I just think we need to be very very careful with our approch to immigration, our revolving door policy is obviously not working as it is the Britons who can afford to leave who do and Immigrants who can barely afford to enter who are! Something needs to be done.

I consider myself pretty liberal. I like people of all races. That was my upbringing while growing up in California. As for the "N" word, all I can see when I hear it is Jim Crow and Blacks only allowed to come in thru back doors, sit at the back of the bus, treated lower than an animal while picking cotton in the sweltering southern heat. Black men that were hung just for looking at a White woman, or accused of looking, and so on and so forth. The word is low and degrading. If my people want to refer to themselves as a low-class "N" then that is that prerogative, but I personally don't care for it at all. My ex husband, who is Mexican, thought it would have been cool to use the "N" word, I let him know it was not. Period.

I've noticed the same thing. These people are complaining about what they see as racism (being told my a muslim manager that a white british male may not put of crimbo decorations) and they are responding by being...racist.
Racism will never stop racism. I think it's a two way street and there are minorities who are racist on each side. I say let them kill each other and the rest of us can get on with ourlives and enjoy/respect our differences.
I think there need to be more respect for different cultures on BOTH sides.
There is also a lot of people blaming religion for all the evils of the world...I have to say I think that industry is the worst religion of them all...Racism is as different to standing up for your culture (because you aren't ; you're attacking another) as Relgion is different to Faith.
I just hate that these fanatics (on both sides) try to include us in their mind games and blood thirsty quest for racial supremacy.
It's getting boring.

Problem is people hate change and the unfamiliar, therefore british people are not racist just suspicious, another thing that leads to this is that when other cultures come over here in any quantity we have polish papers, Muslim tv programmes etc which is fine but try to do put on Eastenders in Islamabad and see where it'll get you

I think that everyone is racist in some way, well not necessarily racist but has some prejudices against a certain type of person for what ever reason. Like saying you don't like french people because you met a french person and they were a dick to you so you lump all french people as the same.

i aint racist by any stretch of the imagination but i would like to know why the black community can call each other the N word and not be called racist when a person of any other race or creed is immediately labeled as racist even if they are not being insulting i.e telling jokes or messing with a friend.it really is hypocrirtical of them.

I'm what people might consider racist but I don't deliberately try to offend anyone. I am a believer in and advocate of Eugenics, and I am a Patriot. I don't care if people agree with or understand my views. I don't try to force any of my opinions on anyone else, or expect them to believe as I do. In fact I respect others right to believe differently. What I do find offensive is that Islamists despite all their protestations still harbour extremists and do nothing either to dissuade them or bring them to the attention of authorities. England is a Christian country, who are muslims to come here with their globalisation agenda and demand various 'rights'? I wouldn't do it in a muslim country and I don't expect them to do it here. If they don't like our laws and culture they shouldn't come here.
