Poison snakes??? Yes, as long as I didn't eat them, I would be safe. Venomous snakes, however...

No, but I would love to be the person who sets up the "stupid stunt". I would put 50 venomous snakes that I would select myself in the tub. The person would not survive the trip to the emergency room and would receive a Darwin Award for sure. If I could pick just 2 snakes, the stunt would go VERY BAD. Dendroaspis polylepis, (Black Mamba) and maybe a Bitis gaboonica, (Gaboon Viper), this lovely combination would ensure death to the "stunt man/idiot".

Yep. Without a doubt in my mind. It probably wouldn't be worth the hassle to sit in there for less then 30-50 dollars, but I would try to milk the money for all it's worth. After all; I don't eat snakes, so it isn't like they could hurt me :-p.
If the snakes were venomous on the other hand; that is a different story.
A poisonous species of snake, like you stated, is only dangerous if you ingest it. A venomous species has to inject the toxins in your blood stream (AKA biting you) for it to be fatal. Example: you can eat rattlesnake, as they are venomous but not poisonous. But while you can handle a ring neck snake all you want; I wouldn't suggest making a snack out of it.
Good luck!

I would get in the tub first, then you can put the snakes in there. Play some mozart. I'd sit there for ten minutes. Then you take the snakes out, count them, then I'd have someone I trust count them to make sure all 50 are out. Then I'd get out.
Half now, the other half when it's done.

After sitting in a tub with that many snakes, I wouldn't be able to spend the money, I'll be dead!
Are you trying to revive "Fear Factor"?

You must have one vivid imagination or you are watching too many survival stories. If you think for one moment those clips you see RE: handling snakes -- are shot without backup and professionalism--I suggest you start watching the Discovery Station. Perhaps you can catch the results of what you are suggesting on a biography of Steve Irwin--the FORMER--Steve Irwin.--good luck

All in all, about 100 grand.

No, thall shall not tempt the Lord thy God.
So for myself-I would go into this tub saying to myself-" God will protect me-but that is foolish on my behalf-because I had a choice to put myself in harms way. He will save me only when I need saving-not when I purposely put myself in a harmful position.
