Hi, I know it is possible!!! !!! !!! On Thanksgiving Day, 15 years ago this year, my water broke while I was showering to dress for dinner. Guests were arriving (mostly fam) I was rushing, and happy!
I took a shower, and while I was drying off, I had to keep going back to my LEGS! But I wasn't on to what was going on yet! I was too busy w/ make-up, hair.. .. .. etc... Finally I was ready to DRESS and noticed that my legs were still not dry, LOL! So I toweled off AGAIN and that was when it hit me!! !! !! I am going to go into labor! LOL!
I had no pain with either of my first two when my water broke, during labor until they were coming into the world! So when my water broke I knew it was time!!
I was going to tell you about my neighbor that went to the bathroom, and didn't notice her water broke until she had wet pants.. .. .. about 1/2 min after the restroom!! But like my story better. I decided to not be so selfish about my answer and answer your question, lol!!

anythings possible I guess. If it is more like a trickle rather than a gush (which is actually more common) then you may not feel it.

One way to test if your water has broken (because it will continue to leak) is to put a clean dry pad in your knickers and wait 1 hour and see if it is wet. If it is wet then I'd say they broke!

if still in doubt, ring or go to the hospital/doctor

best of luck

Usually you would notice. When my water broke - on the pot - it was kinda funny because I thought I was through going to the rest room but it kept coming and coming and coming......

That's how I knew. And it was almost immediate relief to some extent on my usually always full feeling bladder (because the weight of the water from the baby was gone).

yes!,, with my 1st labour my water exploded so i knew it was my water
but with my second i went toilet, wiped then i felt a little wet still, i was like that for an hour before i finally realised it was my water, it just dripped a little, but more than discharge
ifthe head is blocking the pelvic area in can just drip out, so what u do is lye down, then it usually gushes out faster

It could happen. Most people expect that when their water breaks it will be a big gush but it usually is just a little trickle or leak.

I was told to look for a popping sound... and of course when you get up and walk around it will still be leaking out. So, even if you don't know at the moment then you will know soon therefore after.

My aunt said with all three of her children, it was like having a big wee, she didn't realise it was her waters breaking. In hindsight, she said it was obvious ... but not at the time.

No, I don't think so. If your water breaks, you'll feel it.

The water from the uterus comes out of your vagina, and the urine comes out of your urethra. Your vagina is different than your urethra and you can feel the difference.

Cheers
