I have a ZION pc3200 200MHz ram
I have an asus k8v mx motherboard with amd athlon 64 3000+ (claw hammer) processor.
My CPU Z shows it as ddr memory

(A) i want to know if my mobo supports ddr2.
(B) if i can pair ddr2 512mb with my current ddr 512 memory.
(C) if i can pair ddr 200 mhz with ddr 400 mhz

like the others said....a and b = no

One thing to note for c ... the clawhammer is a socket 754 chip (the first gen amd 64-bit with integrated memory controller) if you use ddr400, you will have to manually set the timings on it. The 754 boards cannot support double-sided ddr400 dimms. I have that chip with a gigabyte nforce3 250 board on a fileserve right now and I used to have a dual-channel ddr400 pair in it. I ended up putting some crap ram in there because I had to turn the speed on it way down on my good stuff. So, stick with ddr266 or ddr333 so that you won't run into any speed issues when running two sticks. If you want only one stick, then you can go ddr400.

No to A B as C your RAM suppose to be DDR 400 MHz already and sure you can pair them.

DDR RAM is physically different than DDR2 RAM - The little guide slot is in a different location.

If your motherboard is DDR that you can't install DDR2.
