Obedience? Hmm, obedience is for dogs and cats not for humans.
I think communication and respect is key to any relationship. Two people talking and listening to each other without arguing or raising there voices. Just talking in a civil manner and getting their point across should do the trick.
A woman should never have to "obey" her man. And a man should never have to "obey" his woman. They should respect each other.

Obedient to my husband! Now that is a novel idea. But I can tell you it aint gonna happen, not in my house. Have never been obedient and have no intention of starting.
My husband does tend to listen to me right up until he decides he doesnt want to any more then he does pretty much what he wanted to in the first place.
The system seems to work for both of us as we are both stubborn.

I believe husband and wife should be respectful and loving to one another, if they both had these two, the marriage should be in harmony. They both should treat one another the way they each would like to be treated.

Well, it's funny that you use the terms "women" and "husband," instead of strictly using "wife" and "husband."
Not all women are married, thus they don't have to be obedient to a husband.

there should be mutual respect and compromise... neither better than the other --- if the husband wants to feel superior and have someone totally obedient, he should get a dog

I'm far from obedient, so I'd have to say no. Relationships shoudn't be power plays, for either the guy or the gal.

WHAT???hey my parents didn't raise me to be obedient to my husband.I'm not married I just want to say that it's not right.I do what I wanna do and if he doesn't like it then he can get da f*ck out of my house! It's like that! Women are independent and free to do what they want and make their own decisions!
