The GT totally owns the GTS and comes very close to the GTX in many benchmarks. The price range for the GT is about 250-low 300's since they're in such high demand. It uses the G92 chip and is only 65nm which is why there is such a large improvement as compared to the GTS(320 and 640) which is 80nm I believe. Right now the best bang for the buck is the 8800gt since it is relatively cheap for a graphics card with performance that almost reaches that of the GTX.

8800GT is currently the best bang for the buck in the 8800 series. GTS(640Mb) and GTX are only better at very high resolutions and w/ AA and AF turned on.
