Firstly it is a fact that he lied when he said that interest rates will be lower under a coalition government. Of course he is now claiming that interest rates are not controllable by governments. Another example of him never being responsible for anything?
Secondly he is lucky that mortgage rates are not higher than they are. If the banks were still charging the same way that they did when their rate was the 12% that he keeps crowing about as being the ALP's fault, they would now be around 10%. In those days they added 3% to the money rate, but because of competition in the market place the banks now only add 1.5 to1.75%.
Always annalize anything this lot says because it is rarely the truth. But then what is true or core or non core or an apology to little Johnie?

It's just funny how John Howard is forgiving for these interest rates rise when it's actually a financial problem that Peter Costello should be apologising. And he could be our next PM. Kevin should and will make things change, it's so true.

Can say sorry for the interest rate rise. But wait for it a little later he says he is sorry." But this doesn't mean I'm apologising ". History will not be kind to this LYING rodent.
