Question

oook let me start out that I was on Depo for amost three years. I got off in July..I hadnt had a period either. So I started spotting a brownish red color on Oct 11th. I thought it was my period trying to come back no big deal. It was light and stayed light..On the 14th I had sex The next morning the spotting had stopped.. about a week later I went to the bathroom and when I wiped I noticed a little bit of bright red blood. And a couple of nights ago my nipples started to itch some and the next morning they were sore. And today my nipples are the same itchy and very sore..even wearing a bra causes some discomfort. I'm eatting like 3 times more than what I used to. Tired. And have off and on periods when I feel nauseas..Dont get sick just feel that way for a few minutes..Could I be pregnant this soon after getting off Depo? I got pregnant with my first while on the pill. To be honest right now I feel like I was feeling when I found out I was pregnant with my first.

ok Condi R if you are sick of it why do you keep reading it? and thanks guys..I want to know if I should test or if I'm going crazy..and looking for opinions of other women who were on birth control for a while and their experiences with getting pregnant afterwards..I dont think anyone on here can tell the future or read minds..but if you can let me know lol

sounds like you are to me. Its about the right timing to test now too, so go and get a kit and you'll know for sure.

I had my IUD out 8 wks ago and I am 5 wks pregnant so its possible to get pregnant straight away, lol!

Eh, ignore the jerk. Anywho, I was on the Depo shot too but had irregular periods after my first injection. I never had another and a still did not have my period for what I believe was a couple of months. I'm sure it's possible to be pregnant. Especially since even when you're on it regularly you can still become pregnant. I'm now pregnant with my first child, and I'm at 32 weeks.

I would check with your caregiver. Or the best pregnancy test first. EPT digital! =)

you definitely sound pregnant, have a test!!!! I got pregnant pretty quickly after I got off the depo ( was on it for 6yrs, I got pregnant with my first on the pill also), I didn't get my injection in Jan 06 and had 2 kinda periods then I fell pregnant in may. I was told that it takes about a year or so to start ovulating but after I got pregnant the nurse said "oh' this happens alot, one woman i know of fell pregnant in the first month". I think you already have your answer, now you just have to decide how you feel about it!!! good luck

It's possible. You could be pregnant...and your showing familiar signs...if you stopped in july and being youre a very fertile woman (you got pregnant on the pill !!!) your very likely be pregnant. Take a test, then go to the doc, they will know better than US!

I would say that your body is reacting to so many changes in a short time. You may not be pregnant, but your body has a lot to deal with and I think you should wait it out and perhaps take a test in a few days. All people are different and although it might take a while for MOST people to get the Deop out of their systems, it is not impossible for pregnancy to occur. Best of luck!

I DON'T KNOW TO MUCH ABOUT DEPO BUT MY EX GT PREG 1 DAY AFTER SHE STOPPED I THINK IT IS RARE THOUGH

GO TO YOUR DOCTOR AND HAVE A PROPER TEST.
ALL YOU WOMEN COMING ON HERE ASKING US IF WE CAN GUESS FROM LOOKING AT YOUR TOILET PAPER AFTER YOU WIPE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT, I AM SICK OF IT!
GO TO A DOCTOR. WHO CARES IF YOU HAVE A BROWN SPOT OR A RED SPOT?!?!
