By realizing there is no evil, therefore you cannot kill it. Killing is even evil within itself. There is no source of evil. You dont walk into a bright room and flip the switch and expect inky mist to come darken the room, you just take away the source of light. There is no source of evil, its only a disconnection from the only thing there is; wellbeing. There is no evil in you, your just not looking at the good. Look at the good more and that which you call evil will not be important any more, and when that happens it will "die" on its own.

Yes. by killing yourself. which (in my opinion) would be evil itself. I don't even wanna get into the after life debate.

But, in the context your saying no. We all have good an evil in us. You can't have one with out the other. I believe that for the most part people are good and want to do good. But "evil" is so broad and general. Is saving seal from the jaws of a shark evil or good? You save the seal but the shark starves to death.
Was that a good or evil act?
Granted there are some overtly evil acts (IE rape) and as a society we don't accept them.

Engaging in battle with evil is never a good idea. "Dont feed the weeds..."
We all have the yin and yang within us -- a positive force and a negative force. If you werent aware of your own evil motivations/ thoughts/ feelings then you'd never be able to still yourself and prevent yourself from acting upon those urges. Just try to let go... turn your thoughts to something pleasant, perhaps work on something creative; listen to music that pleases you; do something physical (walk by the water, run, skate...) --whatever helps you to let go long enough to ride the storm out without adding to the turbulence. How would you recognize your JOY if it weren't for your SORROW?

I dont want you to do that. Why? Because you will kill yourself too.
I dont want you to kill yourself.
Think of your evil self as your survival program. It is there in the same hard drive as your good person programming. You keep it in storage and call it up it only in emergencies.
Such as getting your purse snatched unexpectedly while walking down a street.
Or someone pushes in front of you after a long line up at a ticket counter.

There are numerous times you need your evil side. Lol

Never kill the evil - learn to balance it with good.
Without evil (controlled) you have no protection from other evil.

We don't, life is about the harmony between good and evil. This means that the evil within us is naturally controlled by our innate goodness. Think of it as the yin and the yang.

Humans will be imperfect for quite a while yet. Thus rather than killing it, perhaps not feeding it will keep it as minimal as possible. Feeding ourselves with good and positive things will build up instead of feeding the beast.

It may take concerted effort -- at least it does for me.

There is no such thing as evil.

If there was, there would be different levels of evil. Since there is not, it does not exist.

What we refer to as evil is simply the lacking of goodness.

Just as there is no darkness, only the lacking of light.

you can't..

it's an integral part of what makes you human.. along with what is good..

what you Can do, is learn to recognize that which is evil in you, and the circumstances in which it appears, so as to avoid situations that can bring out the worst behaviors..

Light cannot exist without darkness.

Good cannot exist without the evil.

No one is truly evil, and no one is truly good.

We always have a darker side, which makes us completely unique from others.
