Uh... yeah.
The guy was in a tight spot because he never would have called you otherwise.
You just demonstrated that not only can you NOT be depended upon, but that you are rude and not worth promoting.
The next time you need a special day off or some kind of dispensation, you won't get it. You probably won't get a pay raise when the time rolls around. You may get "written up". You may find yourself replaced and fired suddenly.

Your boss must have felt badly insulted by your words. If you did not want to attend office on a holiday, you said so and should have stuck to it still maintaining civility. Your outburst was uncalled for.If I were you, I would phone him right now and tender apologies. After all , he is your boss and wields more authority in the office than you He can harm you in many ways in future.

Well, probably yes. Unless he soon realises that he was being unreasonable, then maybe he'll be a little bit sympathetic.
Either way you could have tried to word it better, but I'm sure you got the general message across

He could definaltey fire you. However, you can take it to the powers above him and get a good defense in there. They could overturn him and let you keep your job.
That was uffed up tho for him to keep pressuring you, you did over react a bit. I would have probably told him I had irreversible plans, so sorry.

That was great of you to be able to stand up for yourself on your day off, but saying that has most likely put you in an awkward situation with your boss. personally, i'd avoid him for a few days, it was you day off, he shouldn't try to take that away.

I think you will be lucky to still have a job. Calling your boss names generally does not go over well! Especially calling him a donkey raper!

Not sure. He might like the fact that you ad the B**** to speak up/speak you're mind. I think if it were gonna cause a problem, it would have that very day.

unfortunately, yes....i dont think you should've called him that...although he was pushing you, you should still hold some respect for him because he is your boss...he could easily report you to employee relations or make things hard for you at work....next time you see him, apologize...think of a good reason or excuse for saying those things...
good luck.
