I think it is one of the better MMORPGs out there. With regards to content, frequency of updates and trainable skills available, it is the best. No other MMORPG integrates noncombative skills with the usual combat skills.
In the last five years or so, its graphics have improved immensely, and we continue to see improvements to its graphics with the "makeover" updates. As the graphic updates are encouraging, there is still room for more improvement. If it could catch WoW with regards to graphics, then RS would win out, as it offers more with gameplay content, quests, and character accessories.
All in all, its a good MMO and is membership is inexpensive and completely worth it.

I really think it is great. I am a member paying. I have played for around 5 years but not at an addictive rate. I have 4 accounts, 1 a member. I really think the way you learn about the middle ages in this game is really unbelievable. I also think how they add new skills that other players want is also fantastic. I would say the only down side is the lack of quality off the way the characters move and look with their necklaces and rings on.
If you need some help here is a little.
If you need money then as a member then you should get flax and sell or use it to make bows in fletching. Also fishing and cooking is a great idea. As non members then: woodcutting, mining, smihing, fishing, cooking and combat all work well to get money fast.

I'm a regular player . Ranked # 13,426 last time I checked. While other games have better graphics ( which wipe out my dial up connection ) the overall gameplay is still good.

i think this game's gameplay is amazing compared to many other games. also, although the graphics can be better, rs is probably one of the best games. In my opinion =]

yea, there are events, like just on halloween, you had to be the servant of this guy and you get rewards
overall, a pretty fun game, but could use better graphics

Used to.. It can be alot of fun. Depends on what kind of games you like. But there is alot you can do and they add new content often.
