If you are born poor you are truly gifted. You have the amazing opportunity of finding yourself by becoming rich. It is your birthright, and yes others were born that way, but you wanted much more than that. You wanted the pleasure to feel the restraints of no money and desire for more, because when you get there it will feel so much better. There will be such a relief and oh what a ride on the river it is. If you were born poor and still don't make a lot of money, you are truly blessed. Can't you see that?

So far two have answered and have missed the point. Im saying being rich is a good thing and that I want it to happen to you. But complaining about being poor is not helping your case one bit. Im saying being poor is a great gift because that statement makes you make peace with where you are. See it from a different perspective, that its an opportunity to claim your riches, and because you know whats its like to live without them, you will appreciate them so much more, the feeling of relief you get will be beyond description. Make peace with where you are while eagerly and happily reaching for more. Find any way you can to make peace with where you are. yes?

it's been said that" money can't buy happiness, but it affords you to choose your own miseries."

what you wrote is a nice opinion. not everybody strives for unbridled wealth. but your enthusiasm is refreshing. thanks for sharing.

The blind appear to be handicapped. But Almighty gives
them some extra sensitivity in some other perception
organ like ear or touch. Have you not observed this?

They live close to nature and enjoy all that is part of
it. Their minds breed on what is natural and less on
what is artificial. They are probably the nature's
ideal for what is living.

Property separates people and poverty joins people.
People of poverty enjoy more close personal
relationships which are highly heartening. Their mutual
understanding as a group is incomparable. It is we who
are poor in such relationships.

too often being born poor is closely tied in with sub-standard education, and bad role models...so being born poor is not the gift we seek...the greatest gift is being born to parents who love you, encourage education from a young age, and have their own sh*t together...If a child is lucky enough to receive this gift then they are way ahead in trying to achieve a fulfilling existence.....not all people born rich receive a good education, but the probability is very high that they will, as compared to someone born into poverty. Education is the key to the gifts of intellectual and financial freedom.

I agree with you very much and I have found my true self by becoming rich then poor again and having those thoughts.

Then I realized I wanted no restraints not just for me
but for everybody on earth, then maybe a castle to hang at, some music and acid for everyone poverty becomes history
no one's going nowhere.

That was just not going to happen which made me kind of sad ..so I lost all hope of becoming rich and became free.

The concept of poor people should not even exist.

Why do I need riches, when I have everything I need while not having them...and riches often bring many problems with them?.

I never learned how much God was able to provide everything I need, until I was in the position to need to take my problems and cares to Him. He said "don't worry about what you will eat, or what you will drink.....or the clothes you wear....your Father in heaven knows just what you need".

I have found that God's provision is just awesome and amazing....He often works ahead of me....and just when I need something...it is there! If I were rich and could provide all my wants and needs, I would never have the chance to find out I really don't need them.

And "the love of money is the root of all evil"...not having it...but loving it!

each of us have our own perspectives in life.. we could always think that being poor isn't that gud at all but we can also believe the other way around. let's take this for instance.. if you are born poor, you always have the opportunity to appreciate the things around you. the happiness brought by the people who loves you and by the simple beauty of nature. however, being born rich makes you feel you're "luckier" than the others. than those who die of hunger and thirst.. those who double or even triple their effort just to cope up with the complexities of life!

Hello, Sit and watch the world go by what a wonderful dream only trouble is your "river" floods sometimes and draws us into the main stream and then a lifebelt is thrown so next time i get into a higher position and watch the less abled pulled into the water so i throw them a lifeline so it goes on each person ajusting their life for the better view. You will make a good Pope because you have the same outlook on life.

Ha No. I guess thats how they try to control poor people in this economy... by making them think they are blessed! *** that man I'm poor and miserable, I want what people in rich places got, I'm working my *** off for it and I don't think I'm blessed for that. Blessed are the people born rich because they can enjoy it from the beginning.

no, money make life more comfortable
On the other hand, being poor can make a character strong and interesting, some people are happy enough even living in "poor" countries.
