i have stumbled on it by accident and really dig it. the only pain in the backside is iam turning my back on over 25 years of knowledge of chords and scale patterns in the previous tunning! the tunning is e a d f# b e.

nope. never heard of that one. but i don't like open tuning. i think it's a gimmick. i do use e-tuning sometimes and like to drop the big e to a d every now and then but that's it.

i mean, you can use all the tunings you want, add a capo, and different guitars and it gets silly. i take pride in being able to play most stuff from one open tuned guit. just my op though. im sure im wrong.

and another thing, i prefer my guit be in pitch rather than a 1/2 step down. sorry stevie.

dropping the g a 1/2 step? i'll chk it out, but at this time i disapprove.
