I have two pennies from 1973 with a heart next to Lincoln. Inside the heart it says "I love you." I am sure it was a novelty coin that came out around Valentine's or something, but I can find absolutely nothing on it!

If someone can point me in the right direction, or even knows the value, please let me know!

With all the novelty coins that have come out over the years I am surprised no one has actually done any research and did a catalog of them. It maybe that there is little interest or it just maybe to hard to track down what company actually made it. I doubt you will find it listed anywhere and most items like that sold for .50 up to a dollar or so. There is a set of 50 Lincolns out there of the 50 states with a map of each next to his bust. There is the Lincoln and next to his bust is John F. Kennedy's. The items are a buy on the spur of the minute and have very little resale value. They are considered damage by the coin collection community. They do make an interesting conversation item.

Novelty coins such as the ones you describe are just that. Novelty coins, and they are worth one cent apiece, regardless of the year they were minted. It's like those dollar bills you see around Christmas with Santa Claus's head on them. They are worth only their face value.

Your cents have been counter stamped. It was done fairly often in the '70s. They probably do not carry much of a premium but are interesting to collectors.

Here are some more counter stamping examples if you are interested:
