Im 15 years old and kind of a short guy and I barely drink any water. I can go for a 4 -7 days without drinking a cup of water...

What makes me drink water is when I drink pasterized milk or anythign salty at the least... Also, Im on a no to slim salt diet (kidney condition).. Is it becasue of my diet i barely drink any water? My sodium intake is 0 < 500mg at most per day. Should I drink water regardless of my low sodium intake? How many cups should I drink?

You should be consuming at least 8 full glasses of water a day. That's necessary for your body.

Milk isn't all it's cracked up to be and water should not be replaced with milk.

Only one cup a day is recommended by top medical universary's.

Google milk and you'll find out it's really not very healthy for you and can double your risk of prostate cancer.

Good luck my friend....

you should especially be drinking water because of your kidney condition. the more concentrated the toxins the harder it is for your kidneys to remove them. you should drink 1/2 your body weight lbs in ounces of water a day so if you weigh 160lbs you should be drinking 80 ounces of water or 10 cups. this will keep your body properly hydrated and help remove toxins out of your body. Also milk has proteins in it that may be difficult for you to deal with so you may want to find a better source of calcium like spinach or broccoli or soy milk. do increase your water intake sooner rather than later as going for almost a week without water is doing your kidneys more harm than good.

It is probably because of your low sodium diet, but you should drink water, ecspecially if you already have kidney problems to help flush out your kidneys. But obviously you already see a doctor for your kidney problems...so you should ask him, before following any advice you might get from us yahoo tards! Becareful, because if you drink too much water, it can lower your potassium level, ecspecially if you do not get alot of sodium.

it's odd you don't have the craving for it. you might be getting enough liquid from other sources like fruits begitables...etc...

does your skin break out?

if not, maybe don't worry about it, but if you want to worry. i heard my coach say 1 gallon a day. i love to drink a lot of water. i pee a lot. but i take a lot of joy from drinking.

You should be discussing this with your doctor as you have medical conditions.
