No, it is not. Rest for a while, about 5 to 10 minutes until your body temperature become normal and then take a shower. If possible, shower with luke warm water.

No.
Elder people in Asia doesn't advice doing this.
It is because.. after work out.. your veins and blood vessels are tired and exhausted. Notice that your body is really warm after a workout. Pouring cold water on your body immediately will badly damage your veins. Some symptoms are sweaty and shaky hands. worst case is severe involuntay muscle movements. But dont worry already.. you won't really feel the difference right away.. the damage will only be realised during old age.
Just take this analogy.
When you heat a metal.. and pour cold water immediately on it.. the result is.. the metal gets really brittle.

It's certainly good for the skin and the people around you, but you don't want to have a very hot shower when you're still overheated and pumped from exercising - hot water causes lots of blood to go to the skin, which puts extra pressure on the heart, which can be a bad idea if it's near its limit already.

yes it is best to shower right after working out.. your pores are open from sweating and it's best to clean yourself afterwards so you don't get a build up of oils and acne..
also.. less chance of body oder and other smells...lol

your pours are probably all open so cleaning them out of dirt and sweat is a good thing. you're not going to suffocate your skin with water or anything. and your muscle are not going to react to the temperature of the water is a damaging way.

Yes, it is good and necessary. Who wants to be around you and smell you after a workout?
