I like to answer questions - I like to think some of my answers help some people. It either gives them the quick answer they need or opens their mind a little bit more.

Frankly, I am not so driven by the need to help others as helping myself. Whenever I see an interesting question, I get the urge to answer as properly, as thoroughly and as conclusively as possible. In order to do that, I have to explore many web-links and in that process, I even come across new sites and with certain types of information I've looked for for a long time. Hence I end up learning new things in addition to helping someone. So I enjoy Y/A for affording me opportunities to learn new aspects of Truth by reading others responses and questions that set me on web-links research.

Other than trying to be as helpful and informative as possible, I like the idea of free-form communication. You control the tempo, feeling, and tone of the conversation. You don't have to worry about dissonant, discordant, or confrontational responses like you might have to encounter in a face to face 'classroom' setting. People have problems with communication you know?
