You pop the houd open to install a new Battry,The battery conecters are covered in a thik green acid crostion,You have 15 minets to chaing out the battery but it will take you 0ver 20 minets to cleen the mess up befor you would alow your Snapon Tools to tuch the battery.You will get a lectuer from your boss if you take the exstra time to do the cleaning.Would you go a head and clean up the conecters and replace the Battery? or leev it messt up?You are also performing at sitom chek to inshore every thing is working good.

You would use comprst air to spray off the conecters and risk geting powdered acid all over the car, yourself and risk preathing in the dust to eat a way at your sineses, lungs,eyes,and your skin ?

Pour some coke or pepsi on the corrosion then rinse off with a little water. Baking soda and water will work really well too.
Come on now, it's not going to take you 20 minutes to clean the cables up.
Get back to work.

id clean them any work you do is as reflection of the kind of work you will be judged by, so i would always clean them off ,all the boss can do is get a little mad,whats he going to do fire you for doing a job rightt,if he did that it would make him look bad,id do it righ or not do it at all,that's just the way i work,the boss will get over it,and there's always other places to work too,good luck.

I'd take it out and spray them off with a hose then some compressed air to save time

I would clean them anyway. If is better to do it right the first time then have it comeback and have the people complain again,.

Bad connections or bad cables. Do a voltage drop.Otherwise alternator is bad and cables connections are bad.
