If the girl is pretending like nothing else happened, be upfront and ask her why she didn't invite you. There might have been a reason, like her parents set a limit to the amount of people orsomething like that.
Make sure your friends know that you weren't invited before the party, and if it does become the hot topic and all of your friends are talking about it, go and sit with a friend who isn't, or ask your friends to talk about something that you can discuss too.
If its the hot topic, its going to be whether or not you want that to be so, but you can't be the only kid in the entire school not invited; just go sit with someone else. Do not insult the girl who threw the party for not inviting you.. if she has thrown a good party then people will like her at the moment. If she throws a bad one then you can say "sounds like I was lucky not to be invited then!"

Don't waste your time feeling bad because some petty drama-queen decided to freeze you out.
You really need to move on and find new friends to hang out with.

Listen... you need to get a little something down. There are FRIENDS and there are ACQUAINTANCES... even within family groups.
Acquaintances only call you when they want something... bring a present to a birthday party, or come when they call. These people are "users" at best. They typically don't care about you or anything going on in your life. You always wonder where you stand with these people until you put 2 + 2 together.
Friends are different. They are there for you, usually share common interests, offer a shoulder to cry on, cheer you on, and want the best for you.
At some point, you need to evaluate each relationship and ask, "What does this person bring to the table?" Is this person a mooch? A user? A manipulator? A drama-queen? A time-waster? Or is this person your cheering section? Provide insight? Make you laugh?
As you go down the list of traits and how each thing makes you feel, you will know who you should be spending more time with.

Since you feel left out and everyone went....
I would talk to the bday girl and say....
I wanted to let you know that I didnt come to your party due to never receiving an invitation ....I wasnt sure if it had got lost in the mail and i wouldnt want you to think that I just didnt show up.... see what she says...maybe the invitation was delayed or lost...if not invited find some knew friends to spend time with that are interested in different things than your friends now are.

if none have ever been, no the party wont be a big deal. it'll blow over. its not like the party is longer than 1-2 days!!!
