I always kind of thought they'd end up together but now that they are idk i feel like it shouldn't have happened haha. Poor Dr. Torres!

I think it will fizzle. The whole thing about Izzie is she always wants what she can't have. George was married but she had sex with him anyway.
I think George is still way too emotional from losing his father and failing his test to become a resident.
Then they bring up the episode where he said he would have given his father his heart to save him AND Alex had to poor salt in his wounds and out him to all the other interns as repeating the year.

The resulting displeasure at the direction that the writing has taken the show, coupled with the long waits between new batches of episodes and compounded by another huge wait for new episodes brought upon by the impending writers' strike in hollywood will choke the life out of any excitement that former fans have for the show.
Ever since they moved it from the Sunday time slot, me and the wife have cared less and less. Increasingly crappy storylines aren't helping, and this may be the final straw.
