After the Patriots' bye in Week 10, they will continue on their journey to a possible undefeated season, however they first face the Buffalo Bills. Some believe this will be a trap game for the Patriots and they will lose. However this may just be wishful thinking for those who do not like the Pats. I mean the Pats/Dolphins game in week 7 was also supposed to be a trap. Well what do you think?

This is what the Bills need to do to win:

-Control the Time of Possession
-Get rid of Tom Brady, hit him hard!
-Make smart offensive plays, mixing it up
-Avoid mistakes (INTs, fumbles, penalties)

Advantages for the Bills:

-Home. I would not want to be a Patriot or Patriot fan in Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Bills fans know how to make non-Bills fans feel uncomfortable, to say the least.
-Special Teams is stronger than the Pats.
-They have a rather weak running game and as long as the Bills end their passing game (taking out Brady) they have a good shot at winning.

If the Bills follow those four rules, they will win.
Otherwise, they will lose for sure.

Well, I tell you what! Are the Bills capable of beating the Pats? Absolutely! If they play at the level they are able to play at they will win! But will they show up and play like they are able to it another thing. If I'm the coach of the Bills, I would do alot of things that they would not expect! Show them looks that they are not used to seeing ect. And I would definately run the football! They have given up alot of yards on the ground! Also, I have noticed that the Patriots offensive line has had some problems protecting Brady. He was sacked twice threw 2 interceptions and was pressured countless times against the Colts! If the Bills go after Brady and do not let up the entire game, control the time of possession, they have a good shot! Weather could play a factor. I don't know if they are calling for rain or anything in Buffalo or not but I saw New England lose at Foxborro last season and it was raining very hard when it happened! The seem to be afraid of the water a bit lol.... I think it is rediculous to automatically assume the Patriots are gonna beat everyone and win the Superbowl. If thats the case, why even watch the game? Even the Bills could win the superbowl if they improve their play! You cannot just give up on your team! Otherwise there is no point in even being a fan! True fans will support their team and believe in them no matter the odds! You just never know what can happen!

Doesn't somebody usually ask that about every Pats game that they are a big favorite in? No, it's not a trap game. The Patriots are unique, they don't get trapped. They have 20 different way to beat you, if one doesn't work, they try another. It has been that way for 7 years now. They don't get trapped. It's what has made them successful. The difference this year is that they have extra motivation from all the sh!t talk they have to listen too, and they have the most prolific offence ever seen in football at any level. As long as Bill Belichek is the coach, and Tom Brady is the QB, the Patriots will never have a "trap game". I'm sorry, but it's true.

It seems like after the colts, everyone should be easier. But Buffalo gave Dallas (go boys) a run for their money early in the year. They have an underrated defense, and if sparked, their offense has playmakers in Marshawn Lynch and Lee Evans.

Things to be aware of: The Colts showed that the patriots do not have much of a running game without Sammy morris. Another flaw happens to be in the passing game. The superhuman that is Tom Brady can be beaten if you disrupt him, and make him uncomfortable in the pocket. The active, speedy front four of the colts caused problems for Brady, keeping the score close. AND, if you make the Pats LBs spread out and cover, you can easily throw on the old men back deep.

Bottom Line: The Bills have an underrated defense, and after the Colts made the Patriots look mortal, I think they have a chance. New England wont get an easy walk for the rest of the season now that a chink in the armor (albeit tiny) has shown up. Expect a tough game from Dick Jauron's Bills.

im not sure if this will necessarily be a trap game but the bills are hot right now. winning 3 straight and likely 4 straight after the dolphins game sunday. the patriots are the better team obviously but the bills have momentum and the bye might take away some of the momentum that the patriots have. I think it can go either way but a bills win is very likely.

Of course it's a trap game. The Patriots know its a trap game, and they'll be ready. They're healthy, rested, and ready to kick some serious butt. Of course the bills could win, if, say, the patriots got lost on the way to the stadium. But alas, it's not going to happen.

Um, No? The QB situation is screwed up in Buffalo right now. J.P. will probably be benched if he doesn't deliver a win and they cycle will shift back to Trent Edwards.. I can't even name the RB for the Bills, which means he isn't having a spectacular season. New England is going to blow them out because they have no one to cover Randy Moss in that secondary. Expect the Pats to win.

for a normal undefeated nfl team, i could see a potential trap. however, these pats that are making a mockery of the nfl and it's record books are not your normal undefeated team. only pittsbugh and the g-men, in week 17, stand between these pats and an undefeated reg season.

well, that is their first game after a week of rest, the Rockies proved how bad rest can be =) I'm not sure it is a trap game but it will definitely be a pivotal game, that's momentum for the Pats to get thru the rest of their schedule
