If so, how did you stop? I mean, I'm not asking for advice! lol I stopped when my mom said she'd tell my friends when I was a kid.

I sucked my thumb until I was 6. My parents tried everything from tobasco to wrapping my hand in medical tape. It was the threat of telling my friends that also got me to stop!!

Nope, but my cousin sucked on three of her fingers for many years. I don't know how my aunt got her to stop.

No, but my little brother was. One day my older sister put vinegar on his thumb and he never sucked it again.

my daughter is! and she's 7 I just let her do it, cause it hasn't affected her teeth! the dentist said it's fine cause she only sucks it until she goes to sleep and not while she's asleep! lol idk how I'm gonna get her to stop! I told her she needed to try to stop and she said she would "pray about it" LOL that was 2 years ago and God still hasn't answered her prayer!

yeah i was.. i didnt stop till i was 11 !! My god, how embarrassing... I had a blanket and once i got rid of that i kinda didnt need to suck my thumb anymore.

I sucked my fingers. My mom let me until I stopped on my own. She didn't want to berate me and knew it was normal.

actually,i think i stopped when i started socializing more,playing sports,getting into girls.i think i just out grew it.i would do it mostly at home anyway because i was embarrassed by it.i just couldn't help it

I was..and got bucked teeth as a result. I just out grew it. I later had to get braces to straighten my teeth out. :-)
