More than enough cats. I'm talking about 8 or more cats that drive you crazy since they'reall over your yard & using it as a litter box. Has anybody dealt with this? We tried calling the humane society but we think they're hidding their 12+ cats. What do you think, how would you handle it?

Pet limit is 4 cats. We have reported them but we think they're hidding them. I still see many of them here and there.

My neighbor did and they would stand on the other side of the fence and tease my dog. After asking them several times to try and control them (my dog was destroying my fence trying to get to the cats) we ended up capturing a few of them and took them out to a farmer who needed cats to control the mouse population in his barn.

When I was little, we did. It was really gross. They pooped all over our yard. There were cats EVERYWHERE! We actually used to trap their cats and give them away to other people. I'm sure that wasn't the "right" thing to do, but they never noticed. The only thing was that they'd just get a new cat when an old one was gone.

We actually moved because it was so bad. I'd try to find out if there is a pet limit and call animal control.

I know that not everyone likes cats but we have several outside cats. They just show up. If they show up at my door hungry, I'm certainly going to feed them. Now, I have neighbors that let their dogs run loose everywhere. They chase the cats & also the horses. They use our yard just like cats do yours. Should I call the humane society? I don't think so. I don't want to be responsible for them being put to sleep just because I don't like them on our property. I have no answer for you. I just run them off when I see them chasing our animals. I don't know anything else to do. Good luck on your side.

We have a neighbor who keeps their dog in a kennel. He gets hot and pants when it is hot. He gets excited and barks constantly cause he wants attention so bad. Always jumping up and down, and chewing on the pail his water is in. I feel so sorry for him. Nobody will do anything about it. What is the sense of having a pet if you are not going to spend time with him?

You could get a few dogs. That would probably discourage the cats from coming in your yard...
LOL
Actually, I am sure it is no fun having so many cats burying their "cookies" in your yard.
