you might want to inclue what kind of bike you have. My 2 pennies is that pitbull makes the best motorcycle stands on the market. Do you really want to put your nice baby on 2x4's and nails while your working on it?!?!?! And the stand that the person above is showing at harbor frieight is great if you have something to pick your bike up to put on the DOLLY! And the dolly wont work with a sport bike. You want to go to pitbull and find a front stand that lifts at the bottom of the tripple.....Or I dont suggest this, but put the back of the bike on a center stand and if you have rafters in your garage, lift it up under the tripple with tie down RATCHET straps.

to rebuild forks you will need the type stand that uses a pin up thru the steering head. i think that would be Pit Bull. another alternative is to take a couple tie down straps and hang the bike by the bars (triple clamp mounted) or by the top triple clamp. hang it to a garage beam or suitible shade tree branch. easy enough to slide the tubes out the bottom.

Harbour Freight has them for $29.99 plus tax...check out this site.....it's a stand and dolly in one...so you can move it around if you need to.

Buy a 2x3 or 2x4 and a few nails, build your own stand.
