I agree, it should be called expulsion or banning. I used to be on a similar question and answer site, and they always said "banned" there. Suspension sounds temporary.

they should call it banishment
and you can be reborn with a different identity
with your past wiped out .
suspension is a joke
and the banishment can be for ridiculous reasons
it is the biggest fly in the Answer ointment ,
plus the damn thumbs button
thew public cannot be trusted with these imperial powers .
i some times get the feeling that a particular mentality prevails and all opposing views are one by one eliminated

They should call it 'revocation' (as in when they 'revoke' ones driver license--and one can never drive again).
Suspension means for a specified period of time---not forever, as Yahoo would have us believe.

I have gotten son vey innocus vilolations but they are so in -consiquesital, IfI got explued I would join anither sight. I work hard to keep our site clean and I get violations
