All the time!! The spookiest is the ice-maker on the fridge when it pumps more water into the trays! From the living room, it sounds like someone's trying to pry the garage door open! There's also something that goes "BANG BANG BANG bannng bannng bannng".. I've been told it's just the water pipes, but that doesn't make sense to me. It happens regularly and only at night. It's loud enough that I should be able to hear it during the daytime even with the tv on, but I never do. Only at night, when I'm alone! *eek!*

No. But I once did live in a house that did have weird sounds at night. My husband was on night shift and thought I was nuts when I told him. One night he heard it, and the next day went in the attic to look around. We never found out what made the noise. It was like someone was walking around, and you could hear a sound like a rocking chair rocking. We did find out from a neighbor someone had died in the house.

Yes, all the time, also sometimes in the day but not really. It is creepier at night especially if you dont know what it is or where it is coming from. And my stereo in my room sometimes makes weird noises when it is turned off it just gives me the creeps.

Most houses do, so yes, mine does - especially when wind is high. Now, the ghost in my attic, well, he makes spooky noises too :P

Number one cause for spooky noises in your house is caused from the temperature changing outside or inside, and the material used in your house shrinking or expanding.

or it could be the ghost coming up behind you.............
