No. The New York papers are reporting that the Red Sox are making signing Lowell a priority and that the Yankees have given up on him and are looking elsewhere to replace A-Rod. A-Rod is likely going to Giants, Angels, Dodgers or Mets.

No. The sox will resign Lowe the MVP of the world series. Why would they sign A-Rod the biggest postseason choke artist of all time? They can get Lowe a proven post season winner with Florida and Boston for way less than the $250,000,000+ A-Rod is demanding.

It would be the ultimate dagger in the heart of the Yankees, wouldn't it? If the Sox were smart, they'd stay away from him altogether. Keep that money saved for pitching and young draft picks. I guarantee you that'll have a bigger impact over the span of a decade than gradually declining A-Rod will.

Baseball is my life, Your wrong if you think Yankee fans will suffer if the Sox sign A-Rod. Actually we wish him on you. His annual October slump is is exactly what we want you to have. Not to mention, signing him to your 140million dollar payroll will cost the Redsox fans the right to cry about the Yankee payroll. So go ahead, sign the butt hole. Make the same mistake the Yankees did. Next year, I'll be looking forward to his 0-22 postseason slump.
Your right about everything else.

i don't think that A-Rod will move to the red sox. i think he is a great player in the Yankees and will stay there a little longer because he is getting good money there. he is also in the running for the MVP and i think he is a really good player. and i am not even a Yankees fan. i go for the Cleveland Indians. Go TRIBE!

As much as I hate A-Rod, I Have to say he is a very talented player. To put him in the powerful line up the Sox already have would just improve the team.. But the Sox don't need a cocky, non-team player to help them win a World Series. I think they proved that this year, and in 2004!! I say no way!!!

The Angels, Mets, Dodgers, and Red Sox are on his short list at this time. I believe the chances are well over 90% he will sign with one of these teams.

No, GM Theo Epstein is too smart to use too high a percentage of his payroll on one player.
