GO TO AMAZON.COM.
It's simple and easy and they have the price and all that stuff. Plus if you want a used one thats in good condition you can also do that and get really good prices for those.
OR IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THE WHOLE SHIPPING THING
Go to you local movie rental store (blockbuster or Hollywood or whatever) and buy one from them. And if they don't have it ask them if they know of any places that does have the lord of the ring DVD you want and i am sure that you will then find what you want. There is also like the above person said: the grocery store, although they don't really sell the past movies but more of the current or new movies.
Good Luck.

Amazon.com should have it
You can probably find it cheaper at retail stores like Target, Walmart, Costco or any store that sells movies Best Buy, Circuit City, SunCoast.
It shouldn't be hard to find/
Amazon.com had it for $23
bestprices.com has it too.
Deepdiscount.com had the trilogy - extended versions for $56
There are lots of versions, so be sure to tell your parents which one. It's confusing. I think you want: Lord Of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring [WS Special Extended Edition] [4 Discs] - DVD

Well, any of the specialty movie stores would likely have it.
F.Y.E, and Sam Goody, as well as Suncoast, will all likely have them, in new and used condition. Amazon will offer a slight discount, but factor in shipping, and it's about the same.
you may be able to find it on eBay, for a good discount, like $20-40 off, but it may not be in perfect condition, even if it's listed as new.
I'm assuming you mean the entire trilogy, in that case, it's available for about $70 off of Amazon, for the Platinum Series Special Extended Edition. (I have this one, and though I've never watched the special features, it's got a ton of them, as well as a nice case.)
Each individual Platinum Series DVD cost about $25 at the stores around me. The Box Set of the Platinum Series is going for $65 at the F.Y.E. down the street.

Go to Amazon.com that is the best website for DVD's, I have bought a lot from them and the quality is always great and the price is always low. I bought the first 3 seasons of NIp/Tuck recently in a bundle for only $55.00, that is how good the prices are.

Walmart. Make sure you get the widescreen version, because its so much better than the full screen stretched version. Alot of dvd's are available on ebay or craigslist too.

i bought them at wal-mart when they were first released. you might have to look around though to find a store that has them in stock, although with the "shopping season" upon us, new stock may arrive. or you could order online from places such as amazon.com, buy.com, etc.
