I'm a high school senior and I'm applying to college this weekend and it says whether I'm applying as a part time or full time student?

I seriously don't know. I know the difference between them is the credits and all that but...

does a part time student graduate later...?
what if i want to work?

how often/when/ do each go to school?

Another Q about applying. I was born in America but it says:

date you became a resident of this state?
is that my birthday - i just filled out my birth date?

Usually a full-time student is taking 12 credits/semester or more (the average is 15), and a part-time student is taking less than that. That would mean as a full-time student you were taking 4-5 classes each semester. Most people right out of high school go to college full-time, and it would take about 4 years. If you were to go part-time, it could take 6 years or longer to finish (if you went half time, it would take 8 years). Many, if not most, students do work, but they work part-time.

As to the question about residency, I would put in your birth date.

I believe the best advantage is that you go full-time when you start college. Full-time students graduate I believe earlier than part-time students. You determine the schedules as long as the classes you choose can saitsfy your needs.

If you were born in America, you should just put that you are not only a resident but a US citizen.

Be sure to apply for financial aid so it can help cover your tuition. Besides, without it you would really be in trouble.
