Yes, in a way we are. From the standpoint that we are not very aware of basic awareness, we are asleep. That is why there are very few good answers to questions like, "What is the meaning of life?", "What is our purpose?". "Who are we?" , What am I?", Who is God?",etc. If we are awake in the truest sense of the word, this information ought to be obvious.

Yes, my dear, it is so good of you to bring to our attention. That, in a way, to a certain extent, etc etc, ------ we are NOT AWARE of the dire times that have come upon us. Have been asleep to the import of things happening around us. "You can tell the weather from the clouds and the wind," but why cant you see the import of the human events unfolding before you? Jesus said in the Gospels, to the Pharisees who determined the mind of the populace in Israel.

I'm not sure I would say "asleep." But I would say we are sheep. We let others lead us so we have someone to blame when it doesn't work out.

No, not yet at lest. Who knows I could be up all night long tonight. I seem to take spells like that from time to time. I feel relaxed this late at night and enjoy the quiet. I almost wish it would never end. =)

Maybe a lot of us are we turn our backs on injustice,cruelty people who ,return bad for good,spousal abuse child abuse Etc on and on if it doesn't affect us we turn our backs,some do I won't.
