my ex-husband hasn't called my daughter for a year now.and we don't know where he is. we both got remarried,but eversince he's not giving anything for my child.my husband is great with her.he is our sole provider.he has no complains.but sometimes i can see my daughter is sad because she miises her dad.

good luck with that...most countries don't care that fathers don't support children here in the states.....so have his rights taken away and give them to your husband...your daughter isn't missing out on her 'real' do nothing father.

Honey! If a man blows his kid off for a whole year, then he's not much of a father. Now I can understand if does'nt want to call his daughter on the phone as long he writes letter's. So if letter's are not coming in the mail then your daughter is better off with out him. If it's really about child support, then you need to head down to the County Offices and file for child support and let the State handle it from there. Good luck!

This is a tough situation. I’m sorry to hear this. Your child deserves better than that. You can still file for child support even if he’s out of the country. He will be subpoenaed to appear in court and if he doesn’t show up then he will be in contempt. There’s a good chance that you can force him to pya even while he’s overseas.

Filing is easy. Just go to the local court house and file. The hard part will be in the collecting of the money.
