Observe prayer at work, home and school everyday!
Argue with God, not me. If people prayed everyday...everywhere...they would always be concious of the needs of others. We wouldn't need government to shoulder so many problems. When people pray...and believe...good things happen. We learn..we grow...we prosper. We stand together...we work as a unit. Unity creates opportunities for larger success. Prayer is free - Jesus already paid the price for US. Prayer heals others and gives hope to the hopeless. I am not saying that everyone HAS to pray, but can you imagine if everyone TRIED to pray...everyday. I know I will get some "haters" out there saying that I am a Bible-thumper. Not me...I wish!

Regain the moral upper hand. Don't get me wrong. I think the US plays an important role in the world through such actions as providing aid to underdeveloped countries and removing the Taliban from Afghanistan. Without maintaining the moral upper hand, the great work the US is doing around the world is being compromised! Actions such as failing to give trails to Gitmo detainees instead of holding them without one for over 5 years, stop torturing people, stop making wars for made up reasons (Iraq), not signing the Land Mine treaty, and put an end to the official policy allowing the use of a nuclear 1st strike! It is hard for a country to be taken seriously when it says we should fear a nuclear strike from Iran yet the US's own official policy allows the use of nukes as weapons and not just for defence!!

Reduce our federal and state governments to what they are supposed to be. Our federal government is only supposed to keep a standing army for our defense, levy taxes to maintain such and maintain foreign policy. Our state governments only responsibility is to provide law enforcement and levy taxes for such. The problem stems from misinterpretation of the constitution. This misinterpretation happened right before the civil war and is what caused the civil war. The constitution is still being interpreted wrong to this day. There was never ment to be the massive mess we have now and the government is not responsible for the people we are responsible for it.

Get rid of income tax.
Firstly it is unconstitutional because congress cannot create any tax that is not based on population census (yet congress conveniently was able to amend the constitution thus becoming the only branch able to remove its own restraints).
Secondly income from sales taxes would go through the roof because people are able to buy more.
Thirdly, people can save more money than they can with FICA and all that social security crap (which will be bankrupted when all the babyboomers retire in the next few years).
Fourth you wouldnt be a slave to the government for 5 months of the year. Depending on your tax bracket the total ammount of money sent to the government equals equals 5 months wages. So basically picture yourself working from Jan 1st to May 30th with 100% of your money going to those idiots in congress and you'll see why it is a bad idea.
Fifth it is your money you decide how to spend it. Not send it away to some government shill who will audit it, bill you for whatever is missing, and then spend it in a way that no one agrees on.
I rest my case.

The United States should let loose of some of their laws. The government was created to PROTECT the citizens, not control every move they make.

Start being stricter about drunk driving! Drunk driving is a huge problem, especially here in southern Wisconsin, where I hear about people being caught drunk driving, after several similar previous offenses, on a daily basis! Here in Wisconsin, the you don't even go to jail for first-offense drunk driving if there is someone sober to take you home. Most other states do ahve mandatory jail sentences for the first offence, but even then they are just a few days. I think the punishment for first offence drunk driving should be a public, televised caning followed by 1 year in a state or federal PRISON, not just a municipal or county jail. After being released, drunk drivers should have their driveres' licenses revoked for at least 5 years. If they ever drive drunk again, they should get a public, televised caning followed by 10 years in prison. After being released, their license should be permanently revoked. The punishment for driving with a suspended license should be a public, televised flogging follwed by at least 20 years in prison. Anyone who injures someone while driving drunk should be imprisoned for life, and anyone who permanently injures or kills someone while driving drunk should be burned at the stake. That may seem harsh, but obviously the penalties need to be more severe, since drunk driving is such a huge problem. According to the U.S. Department Of Transportation, 17,590 people were killed in car accidents caused by drivers with an illegal Blood Alcohol Concentration in the U.S. in 2005. In 2006, 17,602 people were killed in car accidents caused by drivers with an illegal B.A.C. In 2001, terrorists killed about 3,000 Americans, but drunk drivers managed to kill 17,448 Americans, more than 5 times as many. Since 9/11, the government has imposed all sorts of rediculous security measures to prevent furthere terrorist attacks, but it seems to me that since it is many times more likely that you will be killed or otherwise harmed by a drunk driver than by a terrorist, the government should be doing even more to stop drunk driving.

The United States should first fix our problems economically, politically, and religiously before we worry about everyone else. If we are a complete and unified country it will benefit the whole world.
