How well is the president doing in terms of our relationship with other nations?

What type of relationship does the president have with Congress?

Are things getting done in Washington?

You can be honest, but please no bad words or name-calling. I am a supporter of Bush, although I do disagree with several of his policies. How do YOU think he's doing?

Thank you.

Dude, I said you could be honest. I just want you to be mature and not use bad language. Is that so much to ask? I thought I was the asker and you were the answerer.

Internationally, it was bad for a few years, but it's getting better. At least France likes us again. But in the Middle East we remain unpopular.

The President isn't getting along with the Deomcratic Congress that well. An example is the Iraq War...and the funding for it.

Washington only serves itself, not normal Americans. Many of the bills out of Congress are written by the rich, for the rich.

Pretty much trashed them until just recently there seems to be a trend toward reconciliation...But the image of America is very tarnished, we look like a bully. I am a democrat, but I respect republicans...but Bush is not a good republican...he has a purpose in excess of the common republican one...and the Republican way is supposed to be about protecting American business, not a global economy protecting global corporations....the power of the Republican party comes from small business owners and those who want a strict economic protection...but with the fragile stock market and rising commodity prices, it looks like only some of Americans got the favors and not even all republicans....The Chinese are considering discontinuing using the American dollar as their currency and for their treasury...if that happens we are really in for it...and if it happens, you can blame an economy battered by war and extensive borrowing by the last 6 years of Republican Congresses who gave Bush a blank check for all he did and have been using the rest of us as a resource to be mined

I on the whole disagree with the way Bush has conducted business in the White House. However, this doesn't mean that I support the likes of Hillary and the bunch. They propose plans that will put our country further into debt than with Bush in power. How do you support Universal health coverage AND fund the Iraqi war at the same time. If Hillary were to be elected, our deficit would soar way beyond what people now think to be a ridiculous amount (myself included). I think that the major points of this election should be Iraq strategy and how to reduce the debt (including an increase in taxes to take care of some of the deficit). I have no problem with an increase in taxes in order to spend it on helping our country out of our deficit spending problem, but I do have a problem with increasing taxes further to pay for that PLUS social benefits programs. You need to fix one problem before you create another.

2 conservative leaders have been elected in european countries in the last 4 years[[the eu' voters can't hate Bush's ideal too much]]

congress? many of them [unintentionally of course] have politically allied themselves with terrorist..[at least in the same rhetoric and arguments]]]..i think that speaks for itself

No things aren't getting done in washington..but that's not always a bad thing....The less congress does, the closer we remain to the original constitution

he's doing great,he has a great relationship with other nations thats why when he invaded iraq we had basically no allies with us(compared to when his father was in office)he has no relationship with Congress thats why he's considered a "lame duck" pres right now you'll see after his term that the congress will be investigating his administration and it will turn out to be the most corrupt sense Buchanan was in office,he has sent our troops too iraq to fight a war that cannot be won,our men and women are dying everyday for no reason at all.he took advantage of us patriotic americans after 9-11 by telling us that saddam had WMD's and was going to give them to terrorist , he implied that saddam somehow had something to do with 9-11we have sense found out that there were no WMD"s,that there were no terrorist in iraq prior to our invasion, quit frankly i dont know that there are terrorist there now(i wonder if the British considered George Washington and his army terrorist when they came over here?probably)which policies of his do you agree with?maybe the policy of during the bombing of iraq to take out their entire water and electrical supplies in effect wiping out the whole infrastructure of the country and then allowing the infamous no bid contracts to be awarded to haliburton to rebuild all these things that did not need to be bombed? whos connected to that company?or is it the illegal wire taping that you are so fond of?i dont know but i dont think he's doing too good of a job...i really could go on but its getting late good nite
