cubic centimeter or c^3 (volume-- same as a milliliter.)

CC= cubic centimeters, which is the same as
ml = milliliters. Give that dog 2 ml.
You can't "give" someone or something
cm, because that's a unit of length, whereas
cc= ml is a unit of volume.

CC stands for cubic centimeters, and is a measure of volume.

You should have been told to give your dog 2 cc's.

The person mispoke. A centimeter is a measure of distance.

CC presents outstanding research in computational complexity. Its subject is at the interface between mathematics and theoretical computer science, with a clear mathematical profile and strictly mathematical format.
