stop...........take a deeep breath through your nostrils and let it out slowly through pursed lips.
you studied hard all year and failed the exam. well what was your progress through the year? pop quizzes and such? so what you did is wind yourself up so tight that you experienced a kind of stage fright. you have the knowledge but you couldn't access it and let it flow out when you needed it.
so when you join the living again, you could find out when and where this exam may be accessed so that you can have another shot at it. in the mean time, it would be nice if you had a tutor, who makes math fun, to work with you.
you can't function if you are freaked out and ragging on yourself..............so stop it. you now have a problem to solve. if you spend too much of your time with the problem, when will you get to the solution?!

C'mon, bro. You've lost nothing other than an easier path. I did it the hard way. I had a semester with a GPA of 1.1 followed by 1.0 the next semester. Bet you didn't even know that was possible and still be able to graduate high school in four years. I never took the SAT's, or any other assessment tests. I went to a community college and did almost all of my required lower division work. Might as well do it at a CC because its usually a lot less expensive. But I digress. I put a little effort into school at the CC level, and was able to transfer with a choice of colleges and universities. I'm graduating with a BS (so very appropriate) in Business Management (or as I prefer to call it, Binnis Manglement) in December. If you're motivated, there's always a way.

Most people have utterly failed something at some point, and still managed to have a successful life. For now watch a movie or get your self a treat and move on. Later when you have time, figure out why it happened, bad study habits, poor test taking strategies or perhaps you are in a major that does not fit your talents. When you know why, treat it like a learning experience, and change what needs to be changed.

Well you are putting way too much pressure on yourself---study and take them again--or try for a university that doesn't require so much math--your life is not ruined by a math test--your life is determined by what you plan on doing to make yourself a success when your original plan fails. I am sure you are not the only person doing poorly in Math--Better have a plan B and C--simply because, your life does not stop if you don't get into a school. Calm down and relax--start looking for other careers--I am sure you will find and do well in a couple of things in the future. It is all up to you---GOOD LUCK

Look at all your options. University isn't the only route of higher education. You haven't ruined anything, sweetie. You may have to look at alternative routes. It's SO not the end of the world, so lighten up! There are tons of opportunities and you need to scope them all! What do you want to be when you grow up? What are your goals? Go to a technical college and ask to take the ASFAB test. It will tell you what career route comes naturally to you. Take it, and get a counselor to go over the results with you. Get busy! Find a way to make your future happen. You really can do this. Best of luck to you!

Some tests can be retaken. Some people get test anxiety. It's worth talking to the school counselor and trying to figure out what happened. The counselor should have some ideas to help you. You HAVE NOT ruined the next few years of your life with one bad test. Please don't give up!
When you come to a wall, don't turn around and leave. Figure out a way over or around the wall. You can get past this!

You don't even need to graduate high school to go to university. If you want to go to school right after high school, go to community college and transfer after a year or two. If you don't, work for a few years, travel the world or whatever and then apply to university as a mature student when you're 21. Your high school grades won't matter and if you go into an arts degree, you may have a single course as your math requirement.

Your life is not over, you can still accomplish all your goals that you have set for yourself.
Just study hard for the next exam.
Have you thought about going to a community college? If you are struggling in math you can always take a remedial course to refresh your memory.
I wish you the best, good luck

How about a community college? If you want to transfer from there after 2 years all you need to do is work hard and do your best then apply to a 4 year school. You have another chance! You can do it if you truly want to. You just have to have the confidence and motivation.

all things happen for a reason...maybe it wasn't meant for you to go to a university...don't be so hard on yourself...there is nothing wrong with community college or vocational school, not to mention how much cheaper it is...get all your gen ed stuff out of the way...and keep focused on getting where you want to be :) as for the test...study and keep a positive attitude about it....picture yourself passing it with no problems, actually do this for everything in your life...your gonna be fine...be happy for all that you've got :)...and in regards to the massage therapist suggestion, I'm in school to be a holistic health practitioner...it only takes about 8 months and the money after is really good...but you have to have a passion for what you do... don't forget that, ok?
