They did ! In 1241 Batu Khan and the Golden horde reached the walls of the city of Vienna. His army was about 250,000 men. They had already conquered Russia, the Ukraine, Poland, and Hungary. If not for the death of the Great Khan all of Europe would have fallen to the Golden Horde. With the death of the Great Khan Batu's army returned to Mongolia to fight for the title of Khan.

There were "explorers" from Asia, though I don't believe they set out for colonies and permanent outposts the way that Europeans did. Chinese pirates were not just invented for Pirates of the Caribbean.

As for Native Americans, the most plausible explanation I can come up with from my studies is that most Native American cultures did not value the things to be gained from overseas exploration. A significant number of Native Americans, even if they travelled extensively, would never have seen an ocean, so overseas travel would not have been a consideration. For those groups that did live on or nearby coastlines, they did not have the factors that made Europeans so actively explore. Europeans had nations and their associated nationalism, a limited area of land for their population, a developing mercantile economy, significant wars to fund, a concept of value for precious metals and stones....Europeans were unique in the goals and methods of their exploration.

They were forced to follow the migration of the animals through the seasons, bringing them up to the Baring sea. They settled certain areas as they went, calling them home, then, some continued following the herds.

I think it was two reasons: 1) they were happy where they were and had no need to look beyond the horizon.
2) they thought the world was flat and they'd fall off the edge if they did go beyond the horizon.
